Meet Our Billing Administrator: Taylor Gallimore

We are thrilled to be bringing on Taylor Gallimore as our Billing Administrator! As our therapy staff continues to grow, it is crucial for us to have the very best administrative team to support us, and we couldn’t be more excited to have Taylor joining our ranks. Welcome, Taylor!

Tell us about your family.

I have been married to my husband, Tyler, for 11 years. We have 3 children ages 7, 5, and 3. 

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

I enjoy reading or listening to audio books. I grew up playing soccer and have continued running. I have done a few half marathons and several 10K runs! I also like to workout at a local gym a couple of times a week. Our family also likes to go to the lake!

Favorite Birmingham restaurant?

Birmingham has a great food scene, but my husband and I usually end up at El Barrio or Bamboo when we have a date night!

Where did you go to school?

I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2012 with a degree in Recreational Therapy. 

Tell us about your professional career so far.

I worked as a Recreational Therapist and coordinated activities and events for program participants. After starting our family, I stayed home with our children and started working at their preschool when they got older. I started working in the baby room and have also taught 3 year olds. 

What are you most excited for in working at Steel City Speech?

I look forward to working for an organization that provides valuable services to families while helping ensure the billing and administrative processes run smoothly.
