Class Offerings

Speech at the Beach 2024!

We are so excited for Steel City Speech's third annual Speech at the Beach! Some general information about our classes:

EARLY LANGUAGE (18 month - 3 years old) 

9:00 - 9:45 am

* This class requires at least one parent to attend for the length of the class each day

- Our clinicians will walk through fundamental skills to support developing receptive and expressive language including imitation and modeling, learning through play, verbal routines, and more! Parents will have an opportunity to put the skills they learn into immediate practice with therapist coaching and support. Handouts will be provided for each class 

ARTICULATION (3 years - 8 years old)

Time TBD (will be a 45 minute class either 10-10:45 or 11-11:45 dependent upon number of sign ups)

* Parent/guardian may drop off or wait in our waiting area. If dropping off, must be prompt for pickup

- Your child will spend a week practicing target speech sounds while engaging in fun, thematic activities with our clinicians and other children their age! An informal speech screener is conducted at the beginning to determine individualized targets for each child, and daily home practice will be provided for further support
