Meet Our Office Manager: Sarah Steib

We are thrilled to be bringing Sarah Steib into the SCS team! Sarah will be serving as our Office Manager, which involves organizing and preparing therapy materials, restocking supplies, and just generally keeping our office running smoothly. We’re so grateful to have you, Sarah! Read more about her below.

Tell us about your family.

My family is so lovely! We are from North Texas and my parents and brother live near Dallas. I have one younger brother and he is about to begin studying broadcast journalism at Arizona State University. We have two dogs and they love barking at dogs on the TV.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

I’m a huge fan of baking, being outside, and watching movies!

Favorite Birmingham restaurant?

I don’t think any restaurant will ever top Tasty Town, the name is anything but deceiving!

Where did you go to school?

In April I will graduate with my bachelor’s degree at Samford University.

Tell us about your professional career so far.

I am currently studying Communications Sciences and Disorders and will begin my Masters of Speech Language Pathology program in May. I am thrilled to continue to learn about Speech Language Pathology and become a therapist one day.

Why do you think speech and language therapy is important?

Speech and language therapy are vital to our community. Communication is such a distinct component of all relationships, work, and life. The profession of giving others the tools to communicate is a very important one.
